Truly Outrageous Recruiting CALL!

Okay, this isn't really anime, but dangit, it works, simply for the costumes.
I've had a few people show interest in a Jem and the Holograms/Misfits group.
Anyone interested?

I totally remember this show from some point in my life...but It was considered old then. x3;

Aya was the light blue haired Asian girl. She and Stormer were two of my favorites.
I barely remember seeing this show on tv, it came on and ran through 86-87, so I was... 2 or 3 when they stopped producing it (of course, they did reruns for a while)
I'd really like to get at least one of these groups together. I know my friend Christain is definitely interested in doing Jetta, but may be able to do other characters.
Personally, I'd do any character. So lemme know who you'd be interested in doing, and claim a character. Maybe we could do it for MTAC 8 or one of the other cons around here, like the ones in Alabama, or maybe in Paducah or Knoxville.
But I'd really like to do this group, since it'd be very unique, and we could do some sort of actual skit for the cosplay or something.

x3; I have no idea where I remember seeing it then, because I wasn't born until 1991. I do kinda remember it though.

I know they ran it on Boomerang a lot, and did some of the tv stations. You probably saw it on there.

Currently I'm wibbling back and forth between Pizzazz or Jem (hope that doesn't sound arrogant) They have some really awesome costumes, and I think the'd be fun. If someone wants to do one, then I'll prolly do the other, that way we have both front women.

10-4. I'm not even starting in on anything to do with that till ALL of my stuff for MTAC is done and finished. Not going to happen any this weekend unfortunatley, what with (gag) Jane Eyre to read for Romantic Prose and Poetry.
All of the Jem girls hair looks like it's been through a helicopter ride, on the outside! lol!

XD I definitely won't start on anything until after I finish my MTAC stuff. My dad'd think I wanted -another- costume for MTAC Prime. XD;

I still have all of my Jem dolls from childhood. 
They make me so happy...
Well...um...would anyone be opposed to my claiming Jem? I love her earrings so much...*flashy* And I remembered that girls were a bit bigger back in the 80s, so I might be able to tweak something.
Oooo!! I still have the poster with all of her outfits on it!!
Dammit, now look. I've got to go find Jem and the Holograms pics. BRB!!!! *zip!*

I've actually found a Jem musicbox site that has all of the Jem, Misfits, and even the Stingers and Duets.
Rock on, if you take Jem, I'll take Pizzazz, if that's alright. That way we'll have both band heads.
Though it is tempting to make a Jem costume as well, simply for Halloween. ^_^ Shiney pink outfit!
And yeah, I've got the dolls too. One of my friends collects them, and I know I'll never use the dolls as toys again, and wouldn't let my kids play with them, so I'm letting him have all of them
He is totally NOT getting my Pizzazz doll though ^^* I lurve her too much. My Jem is the original 1986 release, though unfortunately one of my poodles decided that he wanted to use the left hand for a chew toy. ~_~ But, I'm keeping her too, because she's just that awesome.
But, Jem is yours, and another one bites the dust!

Dependant on where members are, I've been looking at cons around Tennessee, wondering about going to multiple cons a year for me. I know where Blazer is, but I'm not sure where Kaitsurinu lives.
Dependant on that, would anyone be interested in doing this group maybe at OMGcon? IT's up in Paducah Kentucky, about an hour from Martin. Christian has an apartment (I'm going to be moving after December and will no longer have the apartment I currently have, though my roomies would be willing to put up with us if our group got really big) in Martin, and would be willing to let us sleep over at his place, so we wouldn't have to deal with hotel rooms.
